Ullal: A 17-year-old girl student passed away at a hospital on February 19 where she was undergoing treatment after allegedly consuming a pesticide.
The deceased has been identified as Dhanya, the elder daughter of Somnath and Bhavya, natives of Tamil Nadu and residing in Kumpala Ashraya Colony.
Case Details:
On February 14, when Bhavya returned home from work she found that Dhanya was not around. She returned home at around 3 pm and when questioned she said that she had gone to her friend’s house for study reasons. Her mother scolded her for going without informing her.
Later when Bhavya went to a nearby house for work, Dhanya consumed pesticide. She was admitted to the hospital where she died without responding to treatment.
