Ullal: Tempo hits police constable during traffic control duty

The constable, identified as Manjunath Hegde, was reportedly working to manage traffic in the area during the visit of Chief Minister Basavaraja Bommai to various temples in Dakshina Kannada district over the past two days.
According to reports, the incident took place on NH 66 when the tempo driver lost control of the vehicle and collided with the police constable. Hegde suffered injuries to his head and was immediately rushed to a hospital.
The Chief Minister, who had been visiting the Someshwara temple in Ullala at the time of the incident, expressed his concern over the matter and offered his support to the injured constable.
