Ullal: Woman commits suicide after 15 days of marriage

Ullal: In a tragic incident, a newly married woman ended her life by suicide, on Monday, September 5.

The deceased is identified as Rashmi Acharya (24), a resident of Kotraguttu of Amblamogaru village.

Rashmi was married to Sandeep, a resident of Ganjimath on August 21, this year.

On September 3, a post-marriage feast was organized st her sister’s house.  Rashmi reportedly consumed rat poison on the same day. She was rushed to a hospital at Derlakatte. However, she breathed her last on September 5 without responding to treatment.

Meanwhile, the Konaje police have registered a case.
