Underworld don Ravi Poojary hospitalised in Bengaluru

Bengaluru: Former criminal underworld patriarch Ravi Poojary has been admitted to the Victoria Hospital here due to an illness.
Poojary, who had been hiding for two decades and was named in various criminal cases, was arrested by the city police last February and is being kept in the Central Prison at Parappana Agrahara here.
He was ill from a few days. When hospital physicians checked him they reported that he requires further treatment.
Hence he was admitted to Victoria Hospital with heavy police security on the afternoon of December 29 where the physicians diagnosed him with hernia.
