New Delhi: Union Home Minister Amit Shah in a social media post revealed that he has tested negative for Covid-19.

“My Corona test report has come out negative today. I thank God and express my heartfelt gratitude to all those who have prayed for my recovery during this time. As per doctors’ advice, I will be in home isolation for a few more days,” tweeted Shah on Friday.

“I also express my gratitude to all the doctors and paramedical staff of Medanta Hospital who helped me to fight corona infection and treated me,” he said in yet another tweet.

On August 2, the 54-year-old tested positive for Covid-19 and was admitted to Medanta Hospital in Haryana’s Gurugram, near Delhi.

At that time Shah, in a tweet, had urged people who came in contact with him in the past few days to isolate themselves and get tested.
