Union home minister Rajnath Singh in M’luru

Mangaluru: Union home minister Rajnath Singh arrived at Mangaluru International Airport (MIA) and was welcomed by MP Nalin Kumar Kateel, MLAs Vedavyas Kamath, Dr Bharath Y Shetty, Umanath Kotian and Sanjeeva Matandoor on Saturday March 9th.

Mr Singh will be addressing party workers including party’s booth and mandal workers from Chikkamagaluru Shivamogga, Udupi and Dakshina Kannada at Nehru Maidan.

He will later address intellectuals comprising traders and various professionals at TMA Pai Hall.

Rajnath Singh will visit Polali Sri Rajarajeshwari temple to witness the Bhramakalashotsava fest.

On account of home minister’s visit,the police have strengthened security in Mangaluru.  Two DCPs, 16 Police inspectors, 600 head constables/police constables, five KSRP and six CAR platoons have been deployed as a security measure.
