Union Min Shobha Karandlaje to begin BJP’s ‘Janasheervada Yatra’ in Udupi

Udupi: Union Minister of State for Agriculture and Farmers’ Welfare Shobha Karandlaje will begin the ‘Janasheervada Yatra’ in the district here.

The Yatra is being held to introduce the new Union Cabinet ministers to the public all across the country.

Udupi BJP chief Kuilady Suresh Nayak announced the beginning of the Yatra at a news conference here on Monday.

“The Yatra will begin on August 18 at Hebri under the leadership of MP Shobha Karandlaje where she will be accorded a welcome by the district party unit,” said Nayak.

“On August 19, the Yatra will move to the town hall where MP Karandalaje will be felicitated. Later it will reach Kundapura taluk hospital where MP Karandlaje will inaugurate an oxygen unit,” Nayak added.
