Bengaluru: Union Minister of State for Skill Development Ananth Kumar Hegde continuing his fight against Karnataka state government sponsored Tipu Jayanti has asked Chief Secretary for Karnataka Government (Protocol) and Uttara Kannada Deputy Commissioner not to include his name in any invitation card(s) meant for Tipu Jayanti.
In a letter to state protocol secretary, and Uttara Kannada DC the union minister, five time Lok Sabha MP strongly objected any decision which favours to include his name in Tipu Jayanti invitation cards. Last year, Hegde had strongly condemned and expressed his anger over state sponsored Tipu Jayanti.
