Union Minister assures Karnataka to establish Cashews Research Centre in Kumta

New Delhi: The Union Minister for Commerce and Industry Nirmala Seetharaman assured Karnataka to support to establish Cashews Research and Training Center at Kumta in Uttara Kannada District in a meeting with  Karnataka state cabinet ministers R V Deshpande and Basavaraj Rayareddy in New Delhi on Friday.    

Both ministers had detailed discussion on Marine Export, Storage Felicities in the meeting held and the ministers assured the union minister that there would be full co-operation from the state government to her for her initiatives pertaining to the adoption of a lake at Bengaluru to develop it from MP’s land fund and establishment of World Class Intimation Centers at most of the Coastal areas in Karnataka to support agriculture and health sectors.
