Muzaffarnagar: A BJP MLA courted controversy here when he urged people to beat up anybody found harassing women.
Vikram Singh Saini, BJP MLA from the Khatoli constituency here, was addressing a gathering here yesterday when he said those caught teasing and harassing women should be tonsured and paraded in the locality.
Union Minister of State for Human Resource Development Satya Pal Singh was present in the event.
