Lucknow: Uttar Pradesh Deputy CM Keshav Prasad Maurya on Friday, Aug 29, announced that a road will be named after late Cabinet Minister and ex-India cricketer Chetan Chauhan.
This move by UP government was to honour Chetan Chauhan and also that present and future generations remember him
Maurya announced this while launching the Major Dhyan Chand Vijaypath Yojana under which 19 international players from the state will get road connectivity to their houses.
Chauhan had passed away earlier this month at the age of 73 due to coronavirus-related complications. He had represented India in 40 Tests.
