UP: Illegal liquor seized from school, one arrested

Ghazipur: Police have arrested one person and seized two vehicles for stocking of illegal liquor here in the district. According to Superintendent of Police, Somen Verma, police yesterday arrested one person and seized illegal liquor from a school here, waiting to be transported to the neighbouring state Bihar.

“Police raided a private school, where the liquor was stock for transportation to Bihar. One person has been arrested, while two four-wheelers have been seized,” he said. A case has been registered against the school management in this regard, he added.
