Uppala: Train kills a 12-year-old girl

Kasaragod: A 7th std girl student of the Uppala government school lost her life after she was hit by a train while crossing the railway track. The deceased is identified as Manjusha (12), daughter of Manoj, a tipper lorry driver and a resident of Sharada Nagara in Uppala.
Manjusha had returned back home after school on Oct 24th. Later she was assisting her grandmother to cross the railway track when a train proceeding from Mangaluru to Chennai hit her.
The deceased is survived by her father, mother, younger brother and sister. Being good in studies as well as extra-curricular activities, Manjusha had won several prizes in sports and art.
