Uppinagady: Diesel tanker topples on Mangaluru-Bengaluru highway

Uppinagady: Traffic on Mangaluru-Bengaluru highway was hit after diesel- laden tanker toppled at Nekkiladi bollaru on Saturday, March 13.
Tanker driver Mahesh suffered minor injuries in the accident.
The traffic was restored and normalcy returned on the highway. The tanker was bound for Kolar from Mangaluru when the mishap occurred.
Chaos followed as people started filling the bottle with diesel on the spot. On receiving information about the accident, the local police rushed to the location and filed a case in this regard.
