Uppinangadi: Pick-up taken for wash swept away by floodwaters

Uppinangadi: A pick-up vehicle that was taken for a wash near the stream was swept away by the floodwater that hit it.
The incident occurred at Kanchana Cross in Bajaturu village on Saturday, August 8.
The pickup vehicle was brought there by a person from Kolpe near Nailyadi. While he was washing it, suddenly flood water gushed over and swept away the vehicle.
No harm to life occurred as there was no one in the vehicle. The vehicle was later pulled out with the help of other vehicles nearby.
