Uppinangady: 13-yo boy ends life over bicycle repair

Uppinangady: A 13-year-old boy allegedly committed suicide by hanging himself from the window of his house on Friday evening over an issue of repairing his bicycle.

The deceased identified as Nandan was a class 8 student of a private school here.Nandan used to stay at his uncle’s residence at Dugaladi after the demise of his father Rohit Gowda.

On Friday evening, he was playing with his friends and later he asked his family to get his bicycle repaired. However they told him that they would get it repaired the next day as a technician was at home for repairing the invertor.

Reportedly Nandan got upset over this, went to his room and took the drastic step.

A case has been registered in this regard.
