Uppinangady: Falling tree branch kills car driver

Uppinangady: In a tragic accident, a falling tree branch killed a car driver near the Shirthady intersection on National Highway 75.

Suresh Navada (42) has been identified as the unfortunate driver who lost his life in the accident.

It is gathered that Suresh, along with his wife and 2 children, was on his way to Bengaluru from Pavanje in Mangaluru.

Sources said he had parked the vehicle on the roadside to inspect the engine for mechanical issues when the tree branch fell on him. Fortunately, his wife and both children had gotten out of the car and espaced unhurt.

Nelyadi police visited the spot and have registered a case in this regard.
