Uppinangady: Miscreants stab Hindu activist

Uppinangady: A Hindu organization activist was attacked by miscreants at Halegate on Monday, December 6 evening.
The injured is Ashok Shetty, a resident of Kajekar.
Reportedly, Ashok runs a fishing business near Halegate. When he was standing near the shop the masked men came and stabbed him.
He is currently undergoing treatment in the intensive care unit at a private hospital in Puttur.
Ashok’s fish shop was set on fire and damaged some unidentified miscreants two months ago.
