Uppinangady: Woman found dead, murder suspected

Uppinangady: A woman was found dead under mysterious circumstances near Biliyoor Darkas in Perne.

The deceased has been identified as Hemavathi (37), a local resident.

The incident occurred on Sunday night while she was at home with her mother and her sister’s son. Initially, it was reported that she had suffered a heart attack. However, doubts were later raised, prompting the police to visit the scene.

The police have brought in the deceased’s sister’s son, a minor boy studying in SSLC, and his father for questioning. More details are expected to emerge from the police investigation. The deceased woman worked as a hotel employee.
