Uppunda: One killed, five injured in road mishap

In a tragic accident, one person was killed and five others sustained injuries after the Bolero they were travelling in rammed a road divider on Kirimanjeshwar Road.

The deceased has been identified as Ramanna. The accident took place when his family traveling from Udupi to Badami after attending a family wedding.

Ramanna suffered severe head injuries in the accidentand and was rushed to Kundapur Hospital. Unfortunately, medical professionals declared him deceased upon examination.

The driver of the vehicle, Niranjan, along with passengers Shivakka, Reshma, Kavya, and Prajwal, sustained injuries in the accident. They were promptly attended to, and their condition is under medical care.
