UT Khader inaugurates Indira Canteen at Pumpwell

Mangaluru: Minister U T Khader inaugurated Indira Canteen at Pumpwell Circle here on Tuesday, July 17.

Addressing the gathering U T Khader said, “This is the 5th Indira Canteen in the city. We are happy to inaugrate this canteen here which will help the weaker section of the people. Food will be provided at an affordable price here,”

“So far Indira Canteens are operational in State Bank, Kavoor, Urwa Store and Suratkal and we have opened here at Pumpwell. Our next projects include Indira Canteen at Ullal, BC Road, Beltangady, Sullia and Puttur,” he informed.

Mayor Bhaskar Moily, Chief whip of Legislative Council Ivan D Souza, Deputy Mayor Mohammed, Corporator Naveen D’Souza, Former Mayor Kavitha Sanil and others were present.
