Mangaluru: Minister, U T Khader, lashed out at Tanveer Sait, for his statement that efforts are being made to crush the Muslim leadership in the state, and that Zameer Ahmed Khan and U T Khader, who have been made ministers under Muslim quota, are not capable enough of representing Muslim community of the entire state.
Khader said that, he works for all and not specifically for a single community. People of Karnataka will decide who is capable and who is not,” he felt.
“Previously I had worked as food and civil supplies minister and health minister. The Congress leadership is well aware of my developmental activities. If anyone has complaints against me, I am willing to receive a feedback,” he added.
Khader also said that Tanveer Sait is close to him, and he prays to the Almighty to grant all the prayers of Sait and realize his dreams. “He is fond of me. Perhaps because of this, he would have passed these comments. I will not be taking away his seat, the party head will decide on role allotment to me, he clarified.
