Manipal: Well-known Tulu playwright, film producer and director Vijaykumar Kodialbail and Swaraj Shetty of ‘Shivadhoothe Gulige’ fame will appear in the latest edition of ‘Teredide Mane Ba Athiti’ hosted by Udayavani.com on its Facebook page on Wednesday (April 21) at 5:30 pm.
The drama ‘Shivadhoothe Gulige,’ directed by Vijaykumar Kodialbail, is based on Tulu Nadu’s belief in the demi-god (Guliga) worship.
An engineering graduate Swaraj is seen enacting the role of a Guliga in this popular drama liked by many. The duo will talk about their theatrical experience.
The Tulu comedy movie ‘Oriyardori Asal’ written by Vijaykumar Kodialbail created a milestone thus helping the revival of the Coastalwood film industry.
Swaraj who was working in Chennai quit his job to play the role of a Guliga and is now following his passion. He has worked in other plays directed by Vijaykumar Kodialbail.
Vijaykumar Kodialbail and Swaraj Shetty will be sharing their thoughts on the preparation, experience and appreciation of the people for the role of Gulikar at 5:30 pm.
