Chikkamagalur: It was V G Siddhartha Hegde (founder of Cafe Coffee Day) who gave me the courage to resign from my job. I expressed my feeling regarding my work and told him that I wanted to resign. Siddhartha promised me that he would support my decision and will always be there with me, said, former IPS officer, Annamalai.
He was speaking to the reporters after attending a programme near Kuduregundi in Mudigere taluk
Annamalai said, ” I wanted to go back to my hometown and live like a common man as I was interested in agriculture. I shared my feelings with Siddhartha and he encouraged me to quit my job and promised to support me. After I resigned, he called me from Mumbai and said that it is very hard to leave such a job and even though people think I am a fool, he knew the reason behind my resignation”
“Siddhartha is still there with me, he is watching me from above and will continue to guide me,” he added
