Vacant BSc Nursing seats to be allotted on Oct 20

Bengaluru: BSc (Nursing) course seats remaining vacant in the government nursing colleges will be allotted on a merit basis through the committee formed for this purpose in the respective colleges on October 20, said Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA) Executive Director S Ramya.
In this regard, she issued a press release on Tuesday, stating that only those interested candidates who have not got a seat in the already conducted seat allocation can participate in this process.
Candidates who have already obtained the verification slip of original documents from KEA are allowed to register their names for this on October 18 and 19 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., she said.
PG Medical / Mental seat allocation
In another development, postgraduate medical and dental candidates who have relinquished their seats in NRI/management quotas have been permitted to take part in the ‘stray vacancy’ round of the pre/para clinical seat allocation process online, in accordance with a directive from the High Court.
Eligible candidates are advised to submit their original documents to the authority, undergo verification, register their names, indicate their preferences, make the necessary advance fee payment, and submit the demand draft.
