Valentine’s Day: Police protection in M’luru

Mangaluru: In the backdrop of Valentine’s Day celebration, the police have taken effective measures to make sure no unpleasant incident occurs.

Many groups throughout the state have expressed opposition for the celebration of Valentine’s Day. However in Mangaluru, no such opposition has been expressed till now by organisations here or by any particular organizations or persons relate to it.

Mangaluru police department however, as precautionary measure has deployed patrols thoroughout the city to maintain law and order.

Under the leadership of 2 DCP’s 4 ACP’s, 16 police inspectors, 16 SI’s, 450 police staff, 2 KSRP platoons and 6 platoons of city armed reserve have been deployed as a precautionary and security measure.
