Bengaluru: The validity of curfew passes issued to people amid the nationwide lockdown has now been extended till April 20, informed Karnataka DGP Praveen Sood.
The move comes after Prime Minister Modi in a televised address announced that the current lockdown will be extended till May 3, saying it is very necessary to contain the spread of the coronavirus pandemic in the country.
However, the Prime Minister also informed that some relaxations may be allowed after April 20 in places where there is no hotspot.
