Valuables worth Rs 7.21 lakh stolen from a home in Malpe

Malpe: Cash and jewellery worth over Rs 7.21 lakh were stolen from a house in Vadabhandeshwara, Malpe. The theft came to light on Saturday, October 23.
The theft took place at the house of Jayalakshmi, residing near Vadabhandeshwara temple when she was away.
The bolt of the main door of the house and the almirah was found broken. The thieves stole silver and gold ornaments worth Rs 7.21 lakh and Rs 70,000 in cash from the house.
A case has been registered and further investigations are underway.
