Vamanjoor Tiruvailu Kambala concludes in record time!

Vamanjoor: The Sankupoonja-Devupoonja Jodukare Kambala held in the field in front of Amriteshwar Temple in Vamanjoor, Mangaluru, has set a record for ‘Kambala’ event completed in the shortest time.
The final stage of the Vamanjoor Kambala competition, which started around 9:45 a.m. on Saturday with 166 participants, ended at 8:50 a.m. on Sunday.
Last year, Vamanjoor Tiruvailuguthu Kambala, which was completed within 23 hours, is a successful model this time also within 23 hours. The Vamanjoor ‘Kambala’ serves as a model for other events, striving to utilize new technology to timely completion of the ‘Kambala’ races.
Six pairs of Buffaloes in the ‘Kanehalage’ category, five in the ‘Adda halage’ category, 14 in the ‘Hagga Hiriya’ category, 35 in the ‘Negilu Hiriya’ category, 23 in the ‘Hagga Kiriya’ category, and 83 in the ‘Negil Kiriya’ category participated.
