Varthur lake catches fire again

Bengaluru: A massive fires broke at Varthur lake on Sunday producing noisy flames and sending plumes of black smoke into the sky for continuous 5 hours, thus proving it as a danger zone.
It is gathered that the lake caught on fire at three places simultaneously and this is for the third time that the lake has caught fire so far.
Previous years lake caught on fire because of the garbage dumping. Now, the lake experts are figuring out the reasons for the fire, informed sources.
After witnessing the break out the residents of the vicinity were in shock. The fire broke out in the afternoon around 1 PM and turned massive by 3 PM that the residents opined that NDRF personnel should come to regulate it. However, the firefighters who are the spot are combating with the fire.
According to the residents, the reason for the cause is the chemical waste in the lake, but the exact reason for the cause of the fire yet to be known.
