Vehicle sale fraud: Man duped of Rs 10 lakh; case filed

Mangaluru: A man was duped of Rs 10 lakh by miscreants on the pretext of selling a Hitachi machine in Mangaluru.
M. Kumaresh, owner of KM enterprises was duped by a man named Amol Sarjerao Urkude.
It is said that Kumaresh’s employee Kishore informed him about the sale of a Hitachi machine in Maharashtra.
Kumaresh sent Kishore to Maharashtra to buy the machine and paid Rs 10 lakh to Amol.
However, when Kishore reached Amaravati and tried contacting Amol, his phone was switched off.
Following this, a case has been registered.
