Veteran Kannada writer KoChe passes away at 97

Bengaluru: Veteran Kannada writer and former judge Ko Channabasappa passed away on Saturday due to age-related health issues at a private hospital. He was 97.
Channabasappa, known in the literary world as KoChe was born in Alur in the Kudligi taluk of Ballari district. He was trained as a lawyer and was also a freedom fighter who participated in the Quit India movement.
KoChe was a recipient of the Rajyotsava and Nadoja awards. Channabasappa
His best-known works are Sri Ramayana Darshanam Mahakavya Samikshe, Khajane, Raktaparna, Hindurugi Baralilla, Nyayalayada Satyakathe, Hrudaya Naivedya and Belakinadege.
