Mangaluru: The city police commissioner PS Harsha has confirmed that the cops have received the Forensic Laboratory (FSL) report in connection to the suspicious death of Café Coffee Day founder chairman VG Siddhartha. The official however refused to reveal the content of the report.
Following several media reports claiming that the police had received the FSL report at least three days ago the police commissioner had clarified that the department was due to receive the report. Presently, the commissioner has himself said that the report was received on Thursday.
It may be remembered that Siddhartha had gone missing from Ullal bridge located near Jeppinamogaru along NH 66 and it was presumed that he must have jumped into the Netravati river flowing beneath the bridge. After an extensive search, his corpse was found on the shores of Hoige Bazaar on July 31st.
