VHP, BD distribute books, wheelchairs to the needy

Mangaluru:  The Vishwa Hindu Parishad and Bajrangdal distributed note books, scholarships and wheelchairs to the ones in need.

The programme was held at Town Hall today. VHP leader M B Puranik inaugurated the programme.

Addressing the gathering, Puranik said highlighter the initiatives taken up by the Hindu organisations and said that the  Vishwa Hindu Parishad and Bajrangdal would continue to do the good works.

“The VHP and BD have been distributing books and scholarships to the children of auto drivers and wheelchairs to those who are physically challenged, but they don’t get recognised for their good work,” he lamented.

DK MP Nalin Kumar Kateel, MLA Vedavyas Kamath, Jagadish Shenava, Sharan Pumpwell, Gopal Kuthar and others were present.

As many as 500 people benefitted from the good gesture of VHP and Bajrangdal.
