The Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) and the Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) have strongly denounced the filing of a case against Kalladka Prabhakar Bhat.
The case revolves around Bhat’s comments regarding the government’s stance on triple talaq and its impact on Muslim women’s rights.
During a public address, Prabhakar Bhat highlighted the government’s role in granting Muslim women the right to equality by banning triple talaq. Following this, a case was registered against him.
Sharan Pumpwell, the VHP Provincial Joint Secretary, has demanded the immediate withdrawal of the case, characterizing it as a false narrative propagated against Bhat.
