Victory by a difference of 25,000 votes: Madhu

Kollur: The result of the Lok Sabha election in Shimoga will be on Congress-JD(S)’s side and his victory is assured, said Madhu Bangarappa speaking at the Byndoor and Vandse Block Congress workers meeting held at Katbelur on Saturday evening.

A setback was encountered during the previous Lok Sabha election but this time, I have faced the election with prior preparation and complete support from Congress and JD(S) workers from Byndoor and Shimoga constituencies. Along with D K Shivakumar and several senior leaders, all disagreements here have been cleared, he said.

Speaking on the occasion, former MLA K Gopal Poojary said that Madhu’s victory is assured. Congress leaders Madan Kumar, Raju Poojary, Sampigedi Sanjeeva Shetty, Raghuram Shetty, Vasudeva Yadiyala, P L Josh, Prakashchandra Shetty and others were present.
