Hassan: A video of a man who was in a drunken state attacking his daughter with a hammer injuring her hand in Hassan has gone viral on social media.
The accused has been identified as Prashant, a coffee estate owner and has two daughters.
It is gathered that upset over not having a son, Prashant used to regularly beat up his two daughters. One of the daughters recorded the video of the attack and put it on social media.
In the video, the Prashant can be heard singing KGF film songs while attacking the girl.
Following the incident, Pro-Kannada groups have demanded the arrest of the accused.
