Udupi: While ambulance drivers are entrusted with patients’ life, here a driver posed a risk to patients’ life because of his drunkenness.

On Saturday, May 23 an ambulance skidded off the road and landed in a field nearby at Bhramhavara’s Uppura. The people nearby rushed to help the ambulance driver only to find out that he was drunk, shocked by this they immediately checked if there was a patient in the van, but thankfully there was none.

However, they pulled out the drunk ambulance driver and let him sleep there in an open field, in the meantime they called the owner of the ambulance and told him about the condition of the driver.

After a few minutes the driver who was still in an inebriated got and started walking towards the road holding two of his slippers in his hand while others were recording his video.
