Ballari: Karnataka medical education minister E Tukaram has come under fire after a video of a Congress worker carrying the minister’s footwear in his hand went viral on Wednesday.

The incident occurred during the minister’s visit to Ballari, for the first time after becoming a minister, to offer prayers at the Kanakadurgamma Temple.

While leaving the temple, Tukaram forgot his shoes near the temple itself and boarded the car parked at the entrance of the temple. Later a party worker, who is also said to be a relative of the minister, was seen carrying the shoes and placing the shoes near the minister’s feet for him to wear.
