Bengaluru: Vidwath L, who was ruthlessly assaulted by Congress MLA NA Haris’ son on February 17th at Bengaluru’s Farzi cafe, might be moved for treatment to hospitals in Mumbai or Singapore from Mallya Hospital here, a relative said.
Specialists treating Vidwath stated, “He is as yet thinking that it’s hard to breathe. He has built up an eye disease because of the blood coagulation in his facial injury. He has fever since Wednesday night.” With tears moving down his cheeks, Vidwath’s father J Loganathan was looking through the glass board of the ICU of Mallya Hospital in Bengaluru where his child is experiencing treatment throughout the previous five days.
Loganathan is yet to grapple with what has happened to his child. Vidwat, recently graduated MBA in Singapore, was supposed to start his first occupation one week from now back in Bengaluru. Loganathan has not stepped out of Mallya hospital since Vidwath was admitted. He has so far avoided from addressing the media.
Addressing the reporters, Vidwat’s father J Loganathan got some information about “hundreds of people” who have suffered because of Mohammed, and asked the media to concentrate on them rather than just on his child.
Loganathan stated: “Kindly don’t report about my child, we will deal with him. There are many individuals who were assaulted by Mohammed and his partners. If it’s not too much trouble, go and provide details regarding their condition.” “Their voices were not heard when they were struck. There are a lot of cases which have gone unreported…If you go to UB City, each bar proprietor and businesspeople will inform you concerning Mohammed’s hooliganism,” he added.
“I did not to speak to the media till now. At this stage, my son’s recovery is important,” he said.
“I am hearing a lot of his goonda acts in UB City and surrounding areas,” he said, adding that some victims are now coming forward with their stories. I am not a supporter of the Congress or the BJP or any other political party. People, who are visiting the hospital, including officials and political leaders, are all well-wishers.
Clarifying the rumors that he was a close associate of Former Deputy Chief Minister R Ashoka and KPCC president G Parameshwara, Loganathan stated: “Civil servants and political pioneers who are going to the hospital are known to me and my family for a long time.” Parameshwara has seen my children grow up, he said. “His better half (Kannika Parameshwari) conveyed food twice to the hospital.”
“My family is near Dr Rajkumar’s. Some person from Dr Rajkumar’s family has been bringing nourishment consistently. They are bringing liquid food like fresh juice and soup for Vidwath. I am thankful to them,” Loganathan said.
