Ballari: The rumours of Congress MLA from Vijayanagar constituency Anand Singh may soon quit the party have been doing rounds in the state since few days.

The rumours came just after he was not given ministerial berth during the recent Cabinet expansion.

Recently, Anand Singh had spent a day with union railway minister, Piyush Goyal, during the latter’s visit to Hampi recently.

Singh had recently absented himself from the meeting of party workers held in order to felicitate newly selected ministers Satish Jarkiholi and E Tukaram. He had also met some RSS leaders at Udupi.
