Vijayapura: In an inhumane incident, a young boy was stripped, tied to a pole, and assaulted by a man over a petty issue.

A video of the incident, which took place in Wadawadagi village at Basavana Bagevadi taluk here has gone viral on social media.

Reportedly the boy had abused a few villagers two days back. In a bid to teach the boy a lesson, a villager stripped the boy naked, tied him to an electric pole and smeared black ink on him. As he was being meted this inhuman punishment several others stood mute spectators and made videos on their phones.

The torture did not end at this as the man allegedly threatened to cut the boy’s genitals with a cutting plier.
