Vijaypura: Overflowing river Bhima wreaks havoc in Tarapur village

Vijaypura: Incessant rain has resulted in heavy water flow into Bheema river, disconnecting the road links of a few villages in Vijayapura. Residents of Tarapur village of Sindagi taluk, who were affected by the floods, have been prepared to move to a safe place. But the flood victims claim that proper boat facilities are not being provided to them
After the heavy inflow to the Ujayni water reservoir of Maharashtra, the Tarapur village lost connectivity with the neighbouring villages.
Due to the overflow of the river, the nearby agricultural lands have been flooded and the electric water motors that were installed on the bank of the river have been washed away.
The authorities have instructed the villagers to shift to another place but they claim that proper boat facilities have not been provided to carry luggage and cattle.
