Belthangadi: Village asst dies of heart attack while on-duty

A village assistant attached to Melanthabettu Gram Panchayat in Belthangadi died of a heart attack during duty hours on Tuesday.
The deceased is identified as Sundar Gowda, a resident of Uruvalu village here.
On Tuesday, Gowda had visited the office as usual. Later in the day, he experienced chest pain while having tea with two others. Though he was rushed to a nearby hospital, where doctors declared him dead due to a heart attack.
His co-workers and locals were shocked by his sudden demise.
Gowda is survived by his mother, wife, a son, and daughter.
