Villagers torch police vehicle after four killed in road accident

Vijayapura: Four occupants of an Ape rickshaw were killed after they collided into a KSRTC bus when the auto driver tried to evade traffic police.
The incident took place on Wednesday when the traffic police were conducting routine checking of vehicle documents near Kolar Patna.
While two occupants of the auto died on the spot the other two succumbed to their injuries at the hospital.
In the aftermath of the incident, locals set the police vehicle on fire and are pelting stones on the KSRTC buses.
A case in his regard has been registered with the Kolar police.
