Emirates recently shared an advertisement featuring a woman standing on top of the Burj Khalifa in Dubai. The ad has gone viral on social media.

It was released to celebrate the decision allowing quarantine-free travel between Britain and the United Arab Emirates. It is important to note that the ad was shot without the use of a green screen or special effects, the Khaleej Times reported.

The promotional video is titled, ‘We’re on top of the world.’

The video shows a woman dressed as a cabin crew welcoming passengers back to Dubai after it was added to UK’s amber travel list.

For the unversed, Dubai was a part of its red list that mandated fully vaccinated travelers from the middle-eastern country to undergo compulsory 10-day quarantine in hotels after entering the UK.

As the camera zooms out, the woman is seen standing on top of the world’s tallest building — the Burj Khalifa.

The video has gained a lot of momentum with many speculating the use of CGI.

The ad features Nicole Smith-Ludvik, who according to her Instagram page is a “world traveller, skydiver, yoga instructor, hiker, adventurer”.

Sharing the ad on her Instagram page she wrote, “This is, without a doubt, one of the most amazing and exciting stunts I’ve ever done.”

Below is how the internet reacted.

Emirates later took to social media and released a behind-the-scenes video commercial that confirms that Smith-Ludvik indeed stood at the top of Burj Khalifa.

Here’s what the internet had to say.
