As the United Kingdom gets its newly elected Indian-origin Prime Minister Rishi Sunak, India is of hope of achieving new dimensions in foreign relations between the two countries. While both countries look forward to strengthening their ties, social media on the other hand has left no stone unturned in showing its creativity.

It took no time for Twitter to be flooded with memes on Rishi Sunak with a picture of former Indian cricketer and pacer Ashish Nehra. Their look-alike feature has led to a variety of creative memes on social media.

A Twitter user named ‘SOCRATES’ wrote, “Rishi Sunak and Ashish Nehra seem to be brothers who were estranged in Kumbh Ka Mela.”

User Vinay captioned morphing Ashish Nehra’s face standing with PM Modi as, “PM Modi and PM Rishi Sunak discussing how to get Kohinoor back to India.”

Kaustav Dasgupta wrote, “Well done Ashish Nehra on becoming the next UK Prime Minister. Bring ‘IT’ home.”

National spokesperson of Congress party and eminent advocate Abhishek Manu Singhvi wrote, “If NRN and Sudha move into Dus Number, perhaps it can be called Teen Murti Bhavan.”

A Twitter user named Puru posted a still picture of the Telugu blockbuster movie “Bahubali” and captioned, “Rishi Sunak set to become next UK Prime minister: Le Narayana Murthy right now:”

Likewise, several other interesting yet creative memes have gone viral across social media platforms.
