Sullia: A case has been filed against ten person accused of assaulting a 16-year-old boy for alleged theft of arecanuts.
The accused — Jeevan, Varshit, Sachin, Mokshit, Sanath, Murali, Dinesh, Ishwarchandra and Chetan have reportedly gone into hiding after a video of the incident, which took place last week at Purlumakki near Guthigar went viral on social media.
The victim filed a complaint with the child welfare department. Subrahmanya police are investigating the case based on the video evidence.
