Vishal will sponsor the education of 1800 children, thanks to the late actor Puneeth Rajkumar’s generosity

The sudden death of Sandalwood star Puneeth Rajkumar on Friday, October 29 shocked many, with fans, colleagues, and friends mourning the actor’s demise on social media.
Actor Vishal, a close friend of Puneeth’s, declared that he would look after the 1,800 students whose education was supported by the late actor. Vishal made the announcement at the pre-release ceremony for his next flick Enemy, which also stars Arya.
He said, “Puneeth Rajkumar is not just a good actor, but a good friend as well. I haven’t seen such a down-to-earth superstar like him. He was doing a lot of social activities, and I promise to take care of 1800 students who are getting free education from Puneeth Rajkumar from next year.”
On Sunday, October 31, Puneeth Rajkumar, the son of famed Kannada actor Dr Rajkumar, was put to rest with state honours at the Kanteerava Stadium in Bengaluru in the presence of family, friends, elected representatives, and fans.
