Udupi: Vishwapriya Theertha Swamiji of Adamaru Math has nominated Eesha Priya Theertha as his successor-designate.
The 60-year-old seer while speaking to reporters here on Saturday said that he was proud of his disciple, Eesha Priya Theertha who has knowledge of the Vedas as well as of the worldly affairs. While handing over the Math responsibilities to Eesha Priya, Vishwapriya Swamiji said that he could continue to offer him guidance.
The 33rd seer of Adamaru tradition, Eesha Priya was accepted as a disciple in Durga Betta on June 19, 2014.
